The show

A HANDMADE MACHINE FOR SONGS

The Infinity Slide Machine is built from old suitcases, a guitar case and hand cut slides, pushed through the light one by one. Every performance is a little different.

Years ago, in lantern season, Aunt Faye brought a strange machine to Chiang Mai and sent a signal to the stars. Something answered. Nobody believed her.

We did.

We started with one song at the open mics here. Somewhere along the way we realised it was meant to be twelve. We're finishing what she started.

A DOZEN MINI PERFORMANCES

Short sets in small rooms all around Chiang Mai, all through December. Between bands, in cafés, in pop up spaces. Free.

THE GRAND FINALE

One full hour, seated, at a comfortable volume, playing back the sounds and recordings gathered along the way.

The sound

DREAM POP, SHOEGAZE, ELECTRONICA

Dreamy, hazy, a little grunge underneath. Some of it was written right here in Chiang Mai.

Who

MOOD TREATMENT

An ambient project built around Tye Rod, a DJ, songwriter and producer, with a handmade show that has been years in the making. The full show tours North America in the new year, with more Southeast Asian dates planned for 2027.
